Hi, I’m Ydee (Yemi Disu), Lagos-based photographer, visual storyteller, and the face behind Four23 Photography.

For me, photography has never just been about taking pictures. It’s about seeing you, the real you, and preserving the moments that make your heart feel full. The laughter that rings through your home, the quiet hugs, the milestones, the new beginnings, all of it, captured just as it is.

At the core of everything we do is our love for nature. That’s why we created Ydee’s Green Corner, our very own garden sanctuary right here at the studio. When you arrive, it’s the first place you meet: lush, peaceful, alive. It’s not just a backdrop, it’s where you breathe deeper, relax faster, and let your true self shine. And yes,  we can capture your session in the studio, in the garden, or both. Two beautiful looks, one special visit.

This same love for growing beautiful things is what led me to create Ydee Naturals, my line of gentle, natural care rooted in rich African ingredients. Whether through a lens or a carefully crafted product, my purpose stays the same: celebrating what is real, natural, and beautifully made.

I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and every session still feels like a gift. From families and newborns to entrepreneurs and teams,  I don’t just take photos. I tell your story.
